Long limbs propelled the small body of the carnivore from a mossy rock to another, moving swiftly through the wet climate. Golden eyes focused intently on the small leaping mammal in front of her, chasing it with ease through the land. It was only a matter of time...Yes, soon now, until it slipped. The femme let out a screech and nipped at its heels, and...Yes! It toppled into the wet below.
With a feirce swipe, Ardra scooped it up and swiftly crushed its neck, dragging it along as the predator trudged through the shallow water. She backed up onto the banks of a small, drier island. She then sat down and started to feast, enjoying the silence of the marshy place. She smiled as she felt the warm crimson of the creature seep into her mouth and ate it hungrily as she gazed out at the marshy world around her.

Rumble after rumble shook the landscape, causing shivering in the trees and fear in the smaller creatures. Splashing through the marshy area was a young tyrannosaurus Rex, head down in a blind charge. There was no point to it, he was just causing a ruckus. In a way, it was what he did to amuse himself. Water splashed to his face and eyes and mud covered his once red flesh as he thundered on, pausing every so often to breathe. He paused in the middle of an expansive pond, standing with water up to his knees. Shaking his massive bodice, mud and swamp gook flew in every direction, landing all over the surrounding plots of land... and whatever happens to be on them. Broad maw opened in a rumbling laugh that shook the land much like the creature's footsteps had.

The small creature leapt up as the rumbling began, her small body almost bouncing up and down as the child approached. She furrowed her brow as she spotted the trouble maker, causing a racket and the birds all shreiked angrily, flying from their hiding places. Her lips formed into a scowl and her neck lowered in hate. T Rexs always were the ones who caused trouble, no matter where you went.
"Do you mind?" She snapped. The small dino had to shout to get her message up to the small, tiny ears, and the small, tiny brain of the massive creature. Ugh, they were all disgusting dinosaurs, and Ardra despised them overall. Just that one kid had managed to destroy a whole oasis by just walking. Useless creatures... She thought bitterly, hoping he would leave.

Green eyes scowered the landscape searching for the source of what sounded like a voice. Massive head swiviled back and forth repeatedly before finally tilting downward. There emrald orbs settled curiously on a small, green figure. Not just small, really small. The Rex had to bend over to get a good look at it. Tilting his head in curiousity, the beast just stared for a moment before inquiring to the creature.
"I'm sorry... did you say something?" Being so high up and having been laughing, the Rex hadn't quite caught what the smaller thoropod had said and, though not normally polite, didn't want to seem too arrogant...even though he was.

The small dino leapt from rock to rock as they toppled over as the giant thing moved around. She scowled, hating to repeat herself, and shouted up to the pathetic creature. "I SAID...DO YOU MIND? Some people are trying to enjoy the peace of the afternoon!" She snapped.
If the big brute didn't hear her this time, she wouldn't repeat herself. She muttered something under her breath that he certainly wouldn't hear, and then looked back up to him, her golden eyes blazing in frustration. All the femme wanted was to enjoy the heated day, but obviously that wasn't a possibility at this point, at least. She gave an upset sigh then looked back up to him to see what he would say.

"Alright! I hear you..."
Green orbs squeezed closed as the little being shouted at the top of it's tiny, little lungs. So loud, the Rex had to pull his head back a little, the way people react when someone shouts at them through the telephone. Shaking his massive head, gaze returned sort of curiously to the smaller thoropod.
"I am trying to enjoy this peaceful afternoon as well. Though, I don't find just sitting around eating entertaining." Nostrils opened wide in a loud snort. "I like a little more action in my pastimes." He stood up straight, enjoying the fact that he was so much bigger then the fem. "So one of us is going to have to make some changes, no?" Though trying not to sound rude, the wayward teen ended up seeming more arrogant then hoped. Ah well, might get him some respect.

She snickered as he spoke. So, her suspicions had been correct. He was a giant, rude teenager, an absolute jerk, to put it bluntly. She gave a sneer and spoke angrily. "It is wiser to respect the earth than destroy it." She snapped, guesturing to the large clump of land his rough-housing had destroyed.
"You may think that disturbing everyone else is fun, but I happen to have decency. I will not change for a foolish teenager, so it is up to YOU to be mature and leave this place in peace, or wander quietly." She shouted at him, bristling with anger. Just because Ardra was small didn't mean she couldn't pack a powerful punch. She snapped at the air with her pointy teeth, letting loose her frustration.

"And who are you do tell me what to do?"
Slight smirk appeared on a smug face as the smaller creature snapped at nothing. She was eating alone and therefore, probably didn't have a pack and was consequently no real threat to the larger carnivore. She was in no place for threats herself, either. With a lightening snap, the monstrous bull could break her back...among other parts of her body. Though, in the back of his mind he knew she would flee the scene long before he could even get his jaws around her bodice. Snorting loudly, he bent a massive dome down to the other's eye level, smirk still adorning his features.
"I'll have you know that one day I will be the mightiest in the land. I will be giving the orders and it will be others that are obeying them... and I will run about in whatever swamp i wish to be in..." Head tilted slightly, turning to one side to land a cocky green eye on the fem's form. "Regardless."

A contented girn appeared on the femme's jaw as she smirked in a smug manner at the giant eye before her. "Ah, my friend, do not count your young before they hatch. Who is to say that you will be the biggest? I bet you that someone bigger and stronger will surpass an arrogant teen like you quite easily." She snorted.
"And one good leader a pack does not make. Just because you might be strong, who says there will be any that follow you? I doubt that, with that additude, anyone will." She said simply. He was a terrible, rude beast, and he also had no idea of what being in a pack truly meant. If he ever started a pack, no one would be foolish enough to follow him. But, then again, fools tended to be lead by fools.

The fairly medium-sized carnivore swiftly made his way through the swamp. Tiny bubbles of mud squirted from under his thick and scaly feet. Dark bodice with dangerous-looking yellow stripes tore through the marsh, not really sure what he was looking for, but knowing he was looking for something. Being in his twenties, the male was old enough to know what was right and wrong, but sometimes, he tended to wander form the right.
His rough features might make him look rather rude and annoying, but in all honesty, he could be quite the gentleman. Soon, he saw two other dinosaurs. A T-Rex, and another he could not quite figure out. But truly, he thought her nice looking. Her lime skin was simply gorgeous in the sun. He noticed she seemed to be acting rude towards the T-Rex, but he simply flashed them both a toothy smile and spoke in his slow and mysterious voice.
" 'Lo ma'am, 'Lo sir. I am Furgamor. What might you two be blessed as?"
In truth, he did have an odd way of speech. His words did not roll of his tongue, but they weren't rough either. He just paused after every word to think about the next one. Think. That word described Furgamor quite well. He was certainly a thinker. [/size]

Green orbed blinked as the bull backed up a bit, raising his height to a more comfortable setting. Scaly eyebrows furrowed, making a very irritated and intimidating look upon the male's usually arrogant face. Though usually, arrogance and irritation go claw-and-claw, one causing the other in someone or another. Pupils narrowed at the fem but just as a wide maw opened to respond rudely, another brute came up out of nowhere and offered up his own greeting. Massive skull tilted toward the stranger who revealed himself as Furgamor, look of irritation being covered by a welcoming smile.
"Hey, there mate!" Never passing up an opportunity to show off, the young Rex stood to his tallest height, towering proudly over the others. "The call's Scorn: the future ruler of the land." He posed for a minute, standing with his head held high and noble but it ended with a wink and a bashful laugh. Collapsing to a more relaxed standing position, he paused and looked at the fae, listening for her title. Though he didn't particularly like the fem, he didn't really hate her either and was curious as to what her calling was.
